About The Whitehouse Dental Practice in Sutton
Coldfield
The
Whitehouse Dental is lucky to be part of a bigger
practice with four highly qualified experienced
Dentists, three Hygienists and six qualified Dentist
Nurses. All the experience of running a large
and busy dental practice has been bought over to The
Whitehouse Dental.
Dr. Donal Ian
Robertson B.D.S. MFGDP
Don
qualified from Birmingham Dental School in 1986.
Working in General Practice, he spent seven years
part-time at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital
Orthodontics Department. He became a member of the
Faculty of General Dental Practitioners at the Royal
College of Surgeons in 1994.
A dental practice owner in Castle Bromwich for over 12
years he was appointed as part-time Clinical Lecturer
at Birmingham Dental School in 2004.
As a
newly qualified Dentist, Don decided along with his
colleagues to go to Romania and set up a field dental
practice with make shift chairs and as much equipment
as he could bring with him to do as much as he could
to help Romanians who were kept in mental institutions
and schools. In one week alone he extracted several
hundred teeth and saw approximately 500 patients.
A keen
basketball player and fisherman, he has been happily
married to Helen for 23 years and has two sons. Don
was born in Wallsend, Newcastle and enjoys going back
to the north east for family re-unions.
Hi, I'm Sue...
I
have known Helen for about 15 years, oddly, undeterred
by this, she still asked me to be her right hand "wo(man)"
on reception...
My background is in PA/Secretarial, Admin and
Recruitment but, I am now doing what I enjoy most -
organising everything whenever I get the opportunity!
Away
from my reception duties The Whitehouse Dental, apart
from keeping track of two teenage children, I can more
often than not be found up a ladder painting or
decorating anything that stands still long enough.
You
might even catch me dashing around with a lawn mower
and trying to reclaim the garden from weeds. I also
enjoy just watching the world go by with my terrier
with attitude... It's all good fun.
Anyway,
I look forward to seeing you at the Whitehouse Dental
Practice in Sutton Coldfield, we will make you welcome
and endeavour to be the friendly face of dentistry...
See you
soon, Sue
Sarah Fleming Smith qualified D.S.A.

patients around the practice and gives nervous
patients confidence by her professional and sunny
personality.
Sarah is
currently working towards her qualification as an Oral
Health Educator and has enjoyed visiting nurseries and
schools over the past year. |
